And who’s to say they haven’t already lost their minds? We have to get our insanity from somewhere. I doubt it’s simply pulled out of our asses. Now if we tell the counselors that though, we’ll be accused of being in denial and blaming the world for our teenage angst. I don’t see the win-win scenario here.
The win for us is just being here, haven’t you noticed how laid back the entire staff is? Sure, there might be some hard asses but that’s not even a problem because in the end, they work for us. Think of it this way, what would happen if we all complained to our parents about not being treated correctly? Everly would lose money and not to mention their status of being the best teenage rehab in the country. Without our parents money, Everly will close down and I don’t think the staff would like that. In the end, our parents actually get a life without worrying about us while we stay here and basically run the school. It’s a win-win in my eyes.

Because my parents decided it would be better to send me away than to deal with the problem themselves. That’s probably everyone’s problem, actually.
Some parents just can’t handle their perfect little children being screwed up in the head, I don’t blame them. We’re all such pain in the asses, even without being diagnosed with a mental illness. It’s a wonder how they got this far without loosing their minds.
